The service guys at Hudson Plumbing were very professional. We had a tub replaced with a work-in unit and needed to have the stool moved also. They demoed out the whole old unit in a day and had the new base installed by afternoon. After the concrete was cured under the base, they came back the next day and completed the job. They put down walk mats on our carpet and cleaned up everything. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again in the future.

Strong recommendation for plumber. I’ve always done the plumbing on our houses. I’m not great, but functional. We took over both sides of our duplex and wanted to combine the hot water and replace the 20 year old water heater. I worried that this was a bit beyond my skills, so I bit the bullet, called 3 plumbers, got estimates from two and decided on Hudson in Martinsville. They came to estimate the same day. Kedge gave a lot of good information not only about the job, but about our systems in general. I got the written estimate Monday, accepted it and they scheduled for the next morning. Nate and Bill showed up on time. Both were very friendly and informative. And the work – beautiful. I do sloppy pvc. I have done copper and it’s worse. Nate’s work was beautiful. I had been dithering about paying someone to do what I probably could have done and then I saw his work. I saw the difference between an amateur and a pro. $1550. Next day service. Two hours to do what would have taken me at least all day and the end result is a thing of beauty. I’m a happy boy. Hudson Plumbing. Good name to remember. And no, I don’t work for them. I don’t get a discount or kickback. I’m just a very satisfied camper.
There are not enough stars to rate Hudson Plumbing. Every time a plumber is called by a customer, it is viewed by the customer as an emergency. That, is also the view of Hudson Plumbing. Our issue was a 99% clog from the house to the sewer, backing up into our basement…on Easter Sunday. I called, they answered! AND they came out to try and open the line. Luck was not on my side this time. It couldn’t be cleared and would need to be dug up and replaced. Chad, who also ran the work crew, took some photos and said he would have someone call the next morning to discuss the project. I got that call the next morning, discussed the project and got the ball rolling. They were able to move other projects around to start and finish my project the next day. Chad was back out with his crew the next morning. Chad ran his crew like a well oiled machine, completing the entire project in 3 hours! They worked with a sense of urgency without rushing. They ensured that each step in the process was done correctly before moving on the the next. Chad answered every question I had, explaining what was happening, how it was going to happen and WHY it needed to be done. This man knows his craft! Hudson Plumbing viewed my emergency as their emergency and made my house whole. Throughout the entire experience I was treated as family and not just a customer. Knowledge – 5 stars. Capability – 5 stars. Pricing – 5 stars. Integrety – 5 stars. Customer Service – 5 stars. You can call another plumber, but that would be just a waste of your time. There is NO other plumber that can come close to Hudson. Their business motto is “Trust Your Plumber,” and they have earned that trust.
We recently decided to replace our kitchen sink faucet and garbage disposal and a bathroom sink faucet. After doing some pre-online “shopping” we visited Hudson’s showroom. At the showroom, employees knew their inventory and knew the product lines they carried. They were able to answer our questions and gave us additional information that we hadn’t even considered. Installation day was scheduled sooner than we expected, which was much appreciated. The installer (Brad) arrived as scheduled and installed all 3 units in a timely fashion. He was very professional, and in a friendly manner explained what he was doing. He cleaned up packaging materials and took away old parts that were replaced.
Woke up to discover that the main pipe running into our house had broken and water was running everywhere in the yard and street. Called Hudson and they were there the next morning, and were easily able to find the leak and replace the pipe quickly so that we could get back into the house. They were very professional and affordable, with great service. Thanks guys.
We called Hudson Plmb to replace two outdoor hose bibs. Chad and Kris were great. They were prompt, courteous, professional, and personable. They took the time to explain what they found and how it would be repaired, they also answered all our questions. We will be using them for all our plumbing needs in the future and I highly RECOMMEND them for all your plumbing needs.
We had a water line break and our crawlspace was flooded. Nate came out replace the pipe and was very professional and very efficient. I had had recent surgery and he was very understanding. He also installed a new toilet. He did it so quickly and did such a great job. He was sure that he cleaned up everything after he was finished and the job Was absolutely perfect. I know that any plumbing issues we have in the future we will only use Hudson plumbing and will ask for Nate if he is available.
Nick came out and thoroughly assess the situation tried his hardest to get it unclogged with the equipment that he had but unfortunately we have the old cast-iron pipes and his recommendation was to take some of the concrete out around the drain so that he could get to it easier because of the cost we are stepping back just a minute to formulate our plan but I would have Nick back in a minute to do it he was timely he was kind he was direct and he knew his business.Thank you
Kris and Mike are working on our new build today and even though they aren’t finished I wanted to make sure that they got a shout out from us! They have been extremely thorough, making sure that everything is going where it should. They asked lots of questions to insure we were getting everything we wanted. Also super friendly couple of guys. I’m so glad our builder recommended using Hudson plumbing, they’ve made the process easy and stress free so far. We will definitely tell our friends and neighbors about our experience!

I would highly recommend Hudson Plumbing. We were redoing our master bath. From picking out fixtures, to roughing it in, to the finish they were incredible. Always on time. Excellent work and wonderful to deal with.
Amazing company, from the scheduler to the installers. Very professional, courteous and knowledgeable individuals. Made my first contact about 11:00 am. through Angi. Water heater replaced and installers gone approximately 3:00 p.m. All while performing quality work.
They are kind people, courteous, professional, and do excellent workmanship. My hot water heater emptied it’s contents into my house in the middle of a holiday weekend. They could have gouged me on price, and didn’t. Instead, Dean arranged for Chad P. To arrive in under 2 hrs. He did beautiful pipefitting, installed a new hot water heater, and was done in efficient time. I will not use any other service from now on. Hudson Plumbing is the best.
We called and left a message about our clogged sewer line in the evening after hours. Keaton called us back at 7:00 am and said he would have a tech out in an hour. Billy was friendly and knowledgeable. He called us, and showed up and did an excellent job. He tried to clear the line and found another problem. He had to drive back to Martinsville and get other equipment and came back. They did not charge us an additional fee. And because he discovered the reason for the break, the company who put their line in under our sewer line (causing our problem) agreed to pay the bill. So, no cost to us. As owners of a small business also, it was nice to have hardworking, professionals doing the job they said they would do until completed. The price was reasonable and they traveled from Martinsville to Franklin. The four other plumbers (we know personally) that we called in our hometown did not even return our call. We highly recommend Hudson and will use them again. Great job guys!
I chose Hudson because they were by far the cheapest plumber with the best reviews. I originally wanted a tankless system, but after talking with Keaton he explained to me the pros and cons of a tankless water heater system. I chose to go with a larger, traditional tank water heater. Pricing was a lot cheaper than the competitors and the entire crew at Hudson were extremely nice and willing to help me in any way possible. Chad and Nicholas came out to install and it took them just over an hour and it’s been working great since they left. I will definitely be calling them again for any of my plumbing needs.
5 stars well deserved!! Hudson Plumbing replaced our water softener and replaced our water pressure bladder. They are honest, friendly, professional, and prompt. Hudson Plumbing takes pride in their work and takes the time to explain every issue thoroughly. We highly recommend!!
Nick was the plumber who not only showed up on time he called when he was on his way. His professionalism was outstanding he explained the problem and offered a couple different options for a solution. He did not pressure us into a single option nor the most expensive one. He was very good at answering our questions about different options. I will be using Hudson again.
I called Hudson with a problem, expecting a wait of a couple days maybe. They were at my home within an HOUR. My repair wasn’t even an emergency. The tech’s name was Nate. He was very professional, and knew his trade. He had me up and running in under an hour. Because of Nate, and the absolutely lightning response time of Hudson, I have just found my new plumber.
